🌺 About Kim: As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu! I’m Kim, a dedicated stay-at-home mom of three (four if you count our dearest kitty) and blessed to be married to my Albanian husband for over eleven years. Professionally, I work as a paralegal. My journey to Islam began at the age of nine in the culturally vibrant city of Chicago, transitioning from a stern Christian upbringing in a traditional Puerto Rican/Dominican Latino family to a life as a dedicated Muslim.

I take inspiration from some of my favorite luminaries such as Malcolm X, Hassan al Banna, and Sultan Abdul Hamid II to name a few. Their leadership, and dedication to justice has shaped my perspective on present day issues facing the Ummah. I hope my articles and work shed some positive light on the societal issues we face today.

💬 What I Do: I’m here to express my opinions on Islamic topics. Through my articles, I share my insights and analyses of the current state of the Muslim world, drawing from my personal experiences and cultural background.
